Rock Island State Park

December 3-5, 2010

What fun our Kats and Kittens had visiting Rock Island State Park.  After a wonderful dinner of soup, dessert and more desserts we enjoyed just sitting around the fire trying to catch up on what had been happening with all our Fristers.  Lady Felina had a bad fall and broke her paw in several places.  She was in a wheelchair but don’t think that was gonna stop her from having fun.  We all enjoyed pampering her (the little bit that she would let us)!!!  It was Movie Madness nite.  We watched Baby Mama and a couple other chick flicks while enjoying popcorn, and alcohol.

Saturday morning we enjoyed a wonderful continental breakfast and a nice walk through the park to the river.  It was a rainy, cool weekend but seemed warm and dry being with good friends.   We decided to swap Xmas gifts a little different this year.  We played the Left Right Left game.  Everyone ended up with something very nice and no cheating or yelling as usual (NOT).

A bet was made last year on the Titans Football game.  The cabin that lost had feared the worst – having to wear dreadful outfits designed by the winning cabin when we went to dinner.  But, in the end they really let us off easy!!!  We headed to Cancun Mexican Restaurant and enjoyed the finest Mexican food in Tennessee.  It was such fun pretending it was each of our birthdays and wearing the big sombrero and big red sunglasses that lit up.  As usual we got lots of attention and had every one laughing at us (not with us!).  We had reservations for “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville.  We had the best seats in the house and after the show got to take pictures with the adorable cast.  Thanks to Vivian and Barbara for handling all the arrangements.  Gosh I can’t wait till next year.
