Lady
SophistaKat (Tracey) was our “Queen for the Day” and planned a day of belly
dancing, food and fun. Other KATS and
KITTENS who showed Belly Power today were Queen Cleopurrrtra (Faye), Ms.Kitty
(Ms. Kitty), Princess Pink Panther (Brenda), Kountess Katnip (Samantha), Sassy
Kat Woman (Shawn), Lady Felina (Vivian), and Baroness Von Meow (Linda). We celebrated several KAT birthdays today;
Queen Cleo, Lady Felina, Lady SophistaKat, and Sassy Kat Woman – a big birthday
MEOW!!! We
were all a little nervous about learning to belly dance but upon arriving the
instructor Elina made us all feel so comfortable in her dance studio. She gave us the sexiest hip scarves and veils
to wear and then showed us some great belly dance moves. We all became very serious in trying to make
our hips move to the music. We laughed a
lot and found that belly dancing is really a great exercise! Lady Felina who is still recovering from
shoulder surgery was such a great sport.
Even though she was still limited as to shoulder movement, she tied that
scarf around her hips and joined in. We
had such fun with Elina that we gave her a Kitten name of Princess Dancin
Kitti. After
a great workout – we went to the Pig and Pie Restaurant where we enjoyed a very
private lunch. Lady SophistaKat had each
of us a book and a red hat book marker – such a cute idea. Thank
you Lady SophistaKat for planning such a fun and unique outing for us – it was
just Purrrrrfect!! |
