January 28, 2006                     Miss Marple’s Dinner Theatre

Madame Gi Gi (Gail) was our “Queen for the Nite” and planned a fun trip to Miss Marple’s Dinner Theatre to see the play “Arsenic & Victorian Lace”.  The entire house had been decorated for the family reunion.  Aunts Addie and Grace were thrilled because the whole family was going to be there for dinner.  In the midst of the celebration a body was discovered.  The question was whose body, how he died and who dun it!!!  All of the guests (our very own Kats and Kittens) were charged with the duty of unraveling the hysterical crime.  Besides Madame Gi Gi and her delightful daughter Princess Samantha, Queen Cleopurrrtra (Faye), Ms.Kitty (Ms. Kitty), Princess Pink Panther (Brenda), Lady Glitter of the Litter (Sue) and Princess ApriKat (Barbara) came to enjoy the play and wonderful dinner.

Madame Gi Gi started the night off with a wine toast to our Red/Pink Hat sisters with our special wine glasses.  As we dined on delicious prime rib, pineapple chicken breast, mixed veggies, roasted red potatoes, tossed salad and for dessert cherries jubilee, we talked with the actors and tried to find out clues from them as to just who might have committed this wacky crime.  (Lucky for us Lady Glitter brought along extra money to tempt them with!!). The whole cast were NUTS but they had beautiful singing voices.  We had a great time talking with the actors and working together to figure out this mystery.  Based on the clues, most of us thought it was one of the Aunties who committed the crime – but not our Madame Gi Gi she figured out it was Marcus – and she was exactly right.  We were so excited when we found out we had solved the crime.

We got a great picture of our Kats and Kittens with the cast (it is hard to tell which ones were the NUTS in the play and which were the Red Hat sisters, lol).  Several of us headed down the street to “Hooters” to visit Princess Purrsian Kitti (Christi) who had to work today.  We got a great pic of the group with several of the Hooters hotties (again it is hard to tell which ones were the Hooters hotties and which were the Red Hat hotties - NOT).

Thank you Madame Gi Gi for a wonderful nite on the town – it was just Purrrrrfect!!
