He, however, had gone to Dyer Co as early as May 27, 1832.There was a long chancery Court suit in Madison Co (Book 1 p 28 and deed 16 p 374) about a 584 Acre tract of land in which the names of Josiah and Joseph were interchangeably used. This suit seemed to have run from 1832 to 1847. On Nov. 23, 1859 Josiah was one of the trustees to receive land on which was to be constructed a school house.
