CAME TO JAMESTOWN VA BEFORE 1622 RETURNED TO ENGLAND, MARRIED AND RETURNED WITH WIFE AND SON JAMES IN1632, LIVED AT CROSS CREEK VAJames Riddick served on a coroner's jury in Surry County in 1664.
"John Shepherd, dated 20 April 1669, dying intestate, administration requested by James Riddick, who later married the relict of said Shepherd"
The will of Newman Williams dated Oct 9 1680 was proven by James Riddick. In 1680 - - proving a person's bankruptcy -- stated that he James Riddick was 50 years old.
James Riddick witnessed the will of Richard Bread, dated 1691.
He came to Hoggpen Point, VA in 1642.
James owned a large estate in Nansemond Co., VA called "White Marsh."
On 21 April 1695, a document grants Alice relict of James Riddick, administration rights to his estate.
Five sons are mentioned in his estate settlement.

Seeking any info on family of Dunstan of Isle of Wight during the 1600's.
James Riddick was born in 1629/30, probably in England. In
1652, he married Mary Dunstan and the couple lived in Lawnes CreekParish, Surry County, Virginia where he died sometime after 1680.My family is from their son, Lemuel Riddick, born 1660/64.
