1804- In the will of David Reddick, (Will Book#1, Martin Co., North Carolina,
pages 423-424)
"Will May 10, 1804 of David Reddick. My beloved wife Anne Reddik my son
Humphrey Reddick; my son John Reddick; my son David Reddick (land running down
Spellars branch to Bennetts); my son William Reddick; my daughters and my
son-in-law and my son John Reddick, Senr., my executors. Test; Robert King."

date of probate. All "Administrations of Estates" in Martin Co. were burned)
Note: to son John Reddick, he gave, "....The upper part of my land beginning at
teh pines on Cobbling Branch running to a corner of the road at the Sandy Ridge
then along the road to the poley bridge branch then sown the bracn to the
Speller's branch to the fork then up the East prong of Seillers's branch, to
the beginning and a privilege of cyprus timber in the creek swamp to him and

379-380)1770- David bought lan in Tyrrell Co., North Carolina. Martin Co. was formed
out of Tyrrell Co. and Halifax Co. in 1774. Land was bought from Samuel

1784- David Reddick to Simon Daniel,50 pounds money paid to9 David Reddick by
Simon daniel fo 100 acres. Land being in Martin Co.
