1Email 24 July 1998 (bobbye@madnet.net). "Hello Ken, It seems as though we are cousins, of some degree anyway. My name is Barbara (Gunter) Mitchell and I am a Weakley descendant. Debra Dianne Hooper sent your file on the descendants of John B. Cain and Aquilla L. Fambrough to me because I am more closely connected to the Weakleys than she is and because we share all information. Debra and I are third cousins through our Gunter lineage. My lineage goes like this: 6th Great Grandparents: Robert Weakley who married Elinor Stewart 5th Great Grandparents: Jane Weakley who married John Fambrough 4th Great Grandparents: Robert Fambrough and Hannah Stewart (Robert's second wife) 3rd Great Grandparents: Shadrach Fambrough and Agnes Stewart 2nd Great Grandparents: Edward Fambrough and Elmira J. Smith (Edward's second wife) Great Grandparents: Emily Elizabeth Fambrough who married Marcus Lafayette Gunter Grandparents: James Henry Gunter who married Eulla Gertrude Dockery Parents: James Elmo Gunter who married Wanda Lea Soles And Me: Barbara Ann Gunter who married Leroy (Lee) Mitchell I really don't have a lot of info on the Weakleys at this time but I'll be happy to send you whatever I have. I do have copies of a few pages of The Southern Virginia Weakley Families and Their Descendants, which is how I learned of the Weakley connection. I was searching for Fambroughs and the Cheatham County, Tennessee Historian sent me copies of some pages containing Fambrough info. If I understand your info correctly, Aquilla was the daughter of Jane Weakley and John Fambrough? Is that right? If so, then Aquilla was my fifth great-grandfather's sister????? In your message to Debra you said you didn't find anything on Victoria A. Beech. What were you looking for and how is she connected to you? Victoria A. Beech was married to William J. Gunter, son of Aseanith Stewart and William Green Gunter. William J. was a brother to my great-grandfather, Marcus Lafayette Gunter. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you. Barbara Mitchell.".
