2e-mail. "I have a picture of Samuel, Elizabeth, Jim and Cynthia Irby in the same picture.....Jim and Cynthia got married Oct. 15, 1877... So I know Samuel was still living.. My feeling is he died the later part of 1878. Elizabeth remarried in 1879. Samuel died without a Will, I have the papers from the Gibson C0. Court House were J. W. Mills was bonded to settle the formal estate of S.H. Irby.... This started Jan. 1880 and was settled by March 1881. Thank you,, Patricia Anne Irby Cash." Pat Cash.

(There are no names now on the tombstones, but family legend says that is who they are and it has been handed down. MOST of the Gibson County, Tennesse IRBYS are buried there.) Samuel H.
